A popular online game has made its way to AT&T subscribers this week. Fans of MapleStory will now be able to download the mobile version of the game from the AT&T MEdia Mall. AT&T is the first wireless carrier in the U.S. to offer a mobile version of the online game.
MapleStory is a 2D side scrolling online game that has a global following. The game allows you to customize characters and explore locations all while taking down powerful monsters and chatting with friends. The mobile version of MapleStory is available for US$6.99 from the AT&T MEdia Mall.
One great way to expand the subscriber base for an online game is to allow subscribers to play it no matter where they are. Taking a look at MapleStory has me appreciating the global following this game has. It’s nice to know that not everyone wants 3D graphics to play a game online. Sometimes simpler is better and that’s probably why MapleStory is so popular.
